What Is a Herdshare?
It is illegal to sell raw milk in the state of Tennessee.
You can consume milk from a cow that you own, but not everyone has the time, energy or resources to own a family milk cow...
In comes the HERDSHARE! *DOO-DO-DOOO!*
You can own a share in our cows with several other people,
enabling you access to raw milk while leaving the milking and management to us!
How Much Does It Cost?
A FULL SHARE ENTITLES YOU TO 1 GALLON PER WEEK
Non-Refundable Yearly Herd Purchase Fee: $50/year
Monthly Boarding Fee: $65/month
A HALF SHARE ENTITLES YOU TO 1/2 GALLON PER WEEK
Non-Refundable Yearly Herd Purchase Fee: $30/year
Monthly Boarding Fee: $36/month
How Do I Join?
- Submit a request for a herdshare subscription.
- Once we have that info, we’ll coordinate your first pick-up and send you your invoice and herdshare contract by e-mail.
- We welcome new members to a farm tour at your first pick-up so we can meet you, tell you more about our milking process and show you around the farm :)
- Enjoy your fresh, raw milk and come back each week on your pick-up day to drop your clean jar(s) and pick-up your fresh share of milk!
